LSU’s Glassell Gallery at the Shaw Center for the Arts hosts “Rework!” The 13th annual summer invitational features work by more than 50 artists using recycled and repurposed materials. The exhibit opens today and will be on display until Aug. 3. The pieces are made of everything from Styrofoam to old chairs and offer viewers and artists alike a new perspective on art. The gallery is open 10 a.m-5 p.m Tuesday-Friday and noon-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is free to the public.
