Works from American artist and sports illustrator LeRoy Neiman will be on display at the LSU Museum of Art. This exhibit starts its run this weekend with a free opening reception Thursday at 6:45 p.m., and showcases Neiman’s unique ability to transport action straight from the game to the canvas. More than 80 of his paintings, drawings and prints of some of the greatest American athletes will be on display. Admission is free to museum members, $5 for adults and youth 13 and older, and free for university students with ID and children 12 and younger.
