Michael Fassbender stars as a mysterious pop-rocker in a new film screening at the Manship Theatre. The venue will screen Frank Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $9.50. The movie revolves around Jon (Domhnall Gleeson), a young musician who joins an eccentric band called Soronprfbs, which is led by the title character (played by Fassbender), a man who wears a giant prosthetic head to hide his identity. The comedy also stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and Scoot McNairy and is based on a story written by Jon Ronson about a character conceived by the late British comedian Chris Sievey. Rated R.
