One of the nation’s hottest comedians visits the Capital City. You might know Aziz Ansari as Tom Haverford on NBC’s hit comedy Parks and Recreation or as one of the three performers in the short-lived, underrated sketch comedy show Human Giant. On Thursday, the comedian performs at the River Center as part of his “Modern Romance” comedy tour. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $15. Throughout his career, Ansari has earned acclaim for his scene-stealing ability and notable guest appearances on shows such as FXX’s The League and the movies Funny People and Observe and Report.
