North Mississippi Allstars brings its brand of rock ‘n’ roll to the Capital City this weekend. The band performs Friday at The Varsity. Doors open at 8 p.m. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $17 online and $20 at the door. New Orleans’ own Dumpstaphunk opens. Brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson lead the North Mississippi Allstars. Sons of Memphis legend Jim Dickinson, the brothers and their band have paved their own path to success, earning a reputation as one of the most intriguing acts to emerge from the roots rock genre.
