Dress 2 a Tee

Dressed by Katrina

There are two fashion essentials that I don't like to shop for: A formal evening gown and a bathing suit.

Until one day a few weeks ago, when I discovered what Hurricane Katrina blew in: Chatta Box, an awesome boutique that carries the hottest designers in evening and party wear including Jovani, Dolce Jovani, Vera Wang and Yansi Fugel.

At Chatta Box, I found not one, but three long dresses that I could have easily thrown into my shopping bag if not for the $500 to $700 price tags. However, I did find many evening gowns in the $300 range. My favorite dresses were the elegant and classic numbers designed by Jovani and a young, dramatic fun-girl outfit by Dolce Jovani.

They would make any girl's figure (or lack thereof) look amazingm, even without tucking that extra into Spanx. Did I mention they were comfortable as well?

I was also able to buy a pair of Martinez Valero shoes and fabulous dangling diamond earrings, each for less than $200.

This boutique has great personal service and will even escort you to the tailor for alterations.
