Bite & Booze‘s Jay Ducote (pictured above) will join forces with Tin Roof Brewing Co., Cupcake Allie and Taco de Paco for the fourth installment of the pop-up dinner series The Truck, the Brewer and the Blogger. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, and features six courses of Mexican-inspired cuisine paired with Tin Roof beers.
The evening, held at Tin Roof’s brewery, will start with passed appetizers of pineapple tequila cupcakes, street cornbread and flautas de pollo paired with Voodoo Bengal and Blonde ales. During the seated portion of the dinner, a pork tomatillo gordita with Turnrow will be served first, followed by oxtail tomato stew paired with Rougarou. The Capital City brewery will fashion up a pineapple/habenero Juke Joint IPA to serve with a third course of a spiny lobster blue corn taco. The fourth course features quail en mole served with Parade Ground Coffee Porter. A tres leches cupcake will be served as the final course with Amber Mounds of Joy.
