What makes our Best of 225 Awards unique?
Our readers determine the Best of 225 award winners.
In April we asked readers to nominate their favorites in more than 40 categories. We tallied tens of thousands of nominations and then turned over the top vote-getters in each category to professional Baton Rouge market research firm Survey Communications Inc.
S.C.I. put together a random-sample survey. S.C.I. sampled 25,000 people, including readers of 225 magazine and our sister publication, Baton Rouge Business Report, as well as S.C.I.’s own list of e-mail addresses.
From April 15-27, S.C.I. invited 6,370 people to take the survey; a total of 2,066 individuals successfully completed it.
Five randomly-selected respondents were awarded a $150 gift certificate to either Juban’s or Mestizo Louisiana Mexican Restaurant. The winners were Paula Pellerin Davis, Randy Hymel, Brett Furr, Ann Wilkinson and Richard Robichaux.
