From Baby Showers to 50th Anniversaries, Baum's has been serving the Baton Rouge area for almost 75 years, since 1934. We are a full-line bakery still family owned and operated. We pride ourselves in service and quality and LOVE to put a smile on someones face when they walk in the door following the luscious smell of OUR Buttercream! Making all of your favorites that have made us so well known across the country, such as our Dobasch Torte cakes, White Almond Buttercream Cakes, our Almond Petit fours, Russian Rum Cakes, & King Cakes, we never tire of something new always baking. The latest addition to our Gourmet Line of Cakes is our Chocolate Enchantment, a chocolate lovers fantasy! With our Candy addition in the past 10 years, we recently have added Gelato and Sorbets. An Italian Ice Cream made from scratch, of course, with only 8% fat and wonderful intense flavors. Our well known owner and Certified Executive Pastry Chef, Tim Landry, never ceases to amaze us with his creations and combination of flavors thruout the line of pastries, cakes, pies, cookies, breakfast specialties, king cakes, Holiday specialties, chocolates, gelato and sorbets. We are your 1-stop party shop with balloons, napkins & plates, candles, knife servers and forks, party favors, and so much more!
