Deep-dish pizzas, salads, sandwiches, soups, pasta, ribs, chicken and beef entrees compliment the wide selection of beers. It's like an upscale Chili's with the brew selection of The Chimes. Go to Picardy near the Mall - The Baton Rouge location is listed as Bluebonnet, and the mapquest map at the website has it marked on Bluebonnet, but really the restaurant is on Picardy, just opposite the movie theater.

Overall a great dining experience. Great food and staff. Fantastic beer. I just wished they brewed in-house as many locations do but they have a fantastic contract brewery. Their Belgian beer menu is fantastic as well. BJ's is a brew pub but a family spot. When I ask the family where we want to go eat the first place my 7 year old shouts out is BJ's! Don't forget the Pizooki for a decadent dessert!

My cousin (who is a chef and a graduate from the Culinary School of Louisiana), went here to try this place out. We tend to check out different dining experiences to gather information and plus we love food and like different things. Overall we were very disappointed. I don't know if they were short handed or if there was kaos in the kitchen or if everyone was hanging around the brewery too long. But, we were seated right away and greated very promptly by a wonderful waitress. We ordered a couple drinks that took almost 20 minutes to get to us. Now do understand that there was maybe a total of 6 tables with people eating there including us. Not very busy. We ordered and it took almost another 30 minutes for our food to come out. The food was over cooked, not seasoned, cold. There was no flavor. We just couldn't eat the food. The atmosphere was wonderful. The design was absolute georgeous. This would not be my first recommendation. But, I am not ruling out trying it again maybe at a different time slot to see if there is a change in things.
