Enclosed by one of the glass walls of the Shaw Center, the LSU School of Art's Alfred C. Glassell Jr. Exhibition Gallery is quite different than it's Foster Hall counterpart on the campus. The space is smaller, but with several partition walls, there is ample space for hanging works. Works by professors and alumni are shown here, making it one of the best places to see what LSU's art department is capable of producing. In addition to the LSU affiliates, the gallery also shows various Louisiana and national artists and hosts juried competitions open to all artists.
