Vicki Hitzges started her career communicating for the Dallas Cowboys and soon hosted their weekly TV show, Special Edition. As a television news anchor and talk show host in Dallas, she had the privilege of meeting U.S. presidents, business moguls, movie stars, fashion designers, authors and athletes. Later, she became a publicist, getting clients featured in national media. One of her clients, motivational guru Zig Ziglar, was impressed with Vicki's creativity, so he urged Vicki to speak and invited her to be one of the few speakers he would personally mentor.
Vicki wants Baton Rouge women to know that "attitude is everything: Happiness doesn't happen TO us, it happens IN us. Choose to enjoy life!" She will incorporate humor, illustrations and energy in her talk to leave our audience feeling inspired and motivated! Bad Guys, Good Eats! Pop-Up Dinner at Restaurant IPO
Chef and 225 contributor Jay D. Ducote and Chef Chris Wadsworth hosted the Bad Guys, Good Eats! dinner at Restaurant IPO Wednesday night. The dinner was themed around famous movie villains, pairing cocktails and ales with plates of food resembling famous baddies like The Joker, Lord Voldemort, Hannibal Lector, and many others. The highlights of the night were the three middle courses—a black bean soup laced with blood sausage to signify Lord Voldemort, a brace of coneys on black eyed peas resembling Sauron, and lamb medallions atop a fava bean puree to pay homage to the famous favorite of Hannibal Lector.

HEAD2toe will provide the Capital Region a wonderful day focused on good health and beauty. We will partner with the best in Baton Rouge, ranging from local medical spas, health clinics and hospitals to salons and spas. Our focus for this event is to create an experience and an environment that allows every woman who attends to learn how to improve their lifestyle through health and modern day beauty procedures.
HEAD2toe 2013 will be an exciting day for all. We will begin with a Jazz Champagne Breakfast at 8 a.m. that will get our attendees off to the right start with jazz music, champagne, a hot and healthy breakfast, gift bags, great giveaways, and motivational speaker Vicki Hitzges.
Doors to the exhibit hall will open at 9 a.m. following the Jazz Breakfast. Guests will get to explore "VIP Exhibition Suites" and spend time with each company to learn about the products and services they offer. Seminars will begin at 9:30 and 11 a.m. and run for 60 minutes each.
The event, held the day before Mother's Day, is always popular with moms, daughters, grandmothers, sisters and girlfriends. Our $10 general admission tickets will grant access to the VIP exhibition suites as well as any of the seminars. Our deluxe $25 ticket will include a VIP gift bag, a Jazz Champagne Brunch with a warm breakfast and champagne mimosas, and plenty of fun and inspiration!
