Creature feature
Kids can have a really wild time without even leaving their own back yards—especially if they have a new canine companion to help them explore.
Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge has many great puppies and dogs who would be very thankful to find in a new home in November among them are:
Addie is a 6- to 8-week-old shepherd mix. She currently weighs in at around 6 pounds. She is a happy, playful girl, who craves human attention and loves other dogs. For more information, email [email protected].
Korby appears to be a 1-year-old flat-coated retriever/border collie mix with a beautiful, dark, wavy coat. This active, happy boy already responds to “sit” and “shake” commands and is learning “stay.” He loves to fetch and run and wrestle with other dogs. Korby would be well suited to with an active family with another dog and big fenced backyard. For more information, call or text 964-0886.
Jazzy is an absolute love sponge with loads of terrier bounce and spirit. She loves to be cuddled and petted. This 2-year-old terrier mix recently weighed in at a solid 15 pounds. While she is new to foster care, she appears to be housetrained and has enough patience to tolerate the grouchy, old resident dog. For more information, contact [email protected].
Truly, nothing can dampen Milo‘s zest for life. This perpetually cheerful 1-year-old terrier mix is super-friendly, inquisitive and full of fun. Milo recently weighed in at a sturdy 38 pounds. Of course like all playful, young pups, this fabulous fellow will need plenty of mental and physical activity to keep him happy and healthy. For more information, text 205-9330.
Roo is a 5(ish)-year-old female terrier mix. Her wavy coat is medium length and has oodles of cowlicks that stick out in every direction—making her adorable in addition to being portable. For more information, email [email protected] or text 933-7572.
Moonpie is 1-year-old, female French bulldog mix, who weighs 52 pounds. She is housetrained, loves children and does well with other dogs. For more information, contact 205-9330.
All these pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped. Many other adoptable dogs are available through Friends of the Animals.
