Baton Rouge moving guide: utilities phonebook

You may not have keys or access to your new home until the closing date or your move-in date, but you can call your service provider to set up your account anytime and they can start service on your actual move-in date. Some utilities can accommodate same-day requests, but it’s better to arrange service as soon as you have confirmed your new address. In some cases, you may not be able to choose your service providers—utility providers are determined by where you live.
