Café closes: Longtime Greek-Lebanese restaurant Café Mediterranean closed its doors in the Southdowns shopping center earlier this month. A barbecue sandwich restaurant is slated to open in its place in January. More milk and honey: Latte e Miele has begun renovating the space for its second location, on Jefferson Highway. The new gelato shop will serve Latte e Miele’s signature frozen treats, as well as pastries and other Italian delicacies.
