18 Steak to host Valentine’s Day dinner

If you’re still looking to make plans this Valentine’s Day, 18 Steak at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge is offering a create-your-own meal at $125 per couple.

Patrons can select an option from three courses for the meal. The options are broken up into four categories and include the following dishes:

Course 1

  • Fruits de Mer: lobster ceviche, oysters, shrimp, mignonette, gribiche sauces
  • Charcuterie: local-made tasso, duck pate, artisan cheese, whole grain mustard and caper berries

Course 2

  • Saffron soft-shell crab bisque
  • Ponchatoula strawberry mache salad

Course 3

  • New Zealand rack of lamb with herb polenta, swiss chard and mint julep sauce
  • Seven-ounce wood-grilled filet with lobster bernaise with asparagus and gratin potatoes
  • Redfish courtbouillon with shrimp, oysters, crab, tomato and popcorn rice

Course 4

  • Raspberry onyx with milk chocolate mousse, raspberry passion cream and chocolate cake
  • King Cake bread pudding with crème anglaise
