Baton Rouge takeout and delivery ideas for the week of April 27, 2020

The act of ordering takeout or delivery from your favorite Baton Rouge restaurants has probably become old hat by now.

And with the order now extended until May 15, it’s back to the idea board for takeout inspo.

Now’s the time to expand your options and call up those restaurants and cafes you keep saying you want to try but haven’t gotten around to yet. And with that in mind, we at 225 Dine are scouring social media each week of the dine-in shutdown for lunch and dinner ideas.

Check out some of the delicious picks we’ve found below, and follow along each week as we highlight more flavorful finds from around the Capital City. Also: Don’t forget about our full list of more than 300 area restaurants providing takeout and delivery options right now.

Burgers and po-boys night at Bistro Byronz

Get your fix of Byronz’s burgers and po-boys with specials every Wednesday night and adult beverages to go. We’ve got a craving for the Debris Po-boy and the homemade Veggie Burger.

The Teatery reopens for pickup

While the Teatery on Corporate Boulevard was closed most of this month, it reopened last week for pickup and to-go orders only. That means we’ve got access to its mangonadas, lavender milk tea and boba ice cream bars just in time for the warmer weather.

DiGiulio Brothers still turning out delicious tiramisu with dinner

If the top-rate Italian fare of Perkins overpass favorite DiGiulio Brothers isn’t enough to entice you, it’s serving up homemade tiramisu with a raspberry topping, too. We’re thinking some pasta + a nice bottle of wine from the restaurant + tiramisu = a romantic night at home.

Adrian’s offers homestyle Sunday specials for the family

Each week, Adrian’s Restaurant & Bar has come through with Sunday plate specials that serve the whole family. As of last week, the restaurant on Perkins Road East was also offering up boiled crawfish at market price. Whatever your choice, it’s an easy fix for a Sunday dinner.

It's Sunday Funday! Give us a call at (225) 778-5119 to place your order today! We'll be open until 5 PM.
