The bar will also expand its lunch hours
Owners of The Bulldog announced last week that all three of its bars in Louisiana will be completely smoke free, beginning Wednesday, April 22, according to a story from Daily Report.
“Although not required by law, with the passing of the smoking ordinance in New Orleans, we felt it was the right time to implement the policy simultaneously across all locations to promote and provide for an equally healthy establishment right here in Baton Rouge,” says co-owner Eddie Dyer in a prepared release.
General manager of the Baton Rouge location Remi DeMatteo says those wishing to smoke will be permitted to do so outside at the Perkins Road location’s large patio.

DeMatteo also says the Capital City location, located at 4385 Perkins Road, will expand its lunch service beginning next Wednesday. Lunch will be served every day beginning at 11:30 a.m. Previously, lunch was only available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The lunch menu is The Bulldog’s standard menu featured during evening hours. With the expansion, the bar will offer some new rotating specials:

Shrimp Mornay Fries. Waffle fries, smothered in Béchamel and grilled shrimp, and topped with green onions.
Bulldog Bleu Ribbon Chicken. The bar’s version of the classic Cordon Bleu—chicken fried chicken, battered in PBR, and heaped with Swiss cheese and bacon.
Philly Steak Tacos. Served with fresh cilantro, lime ranch and seared Cabernet onions.
