Capitol City Produce is expecting to break ground later this summer on a 50,000-square-foot expansion that will more than double the company’s facility size in order to grow its offerings, according to the Daily Report.
The Baton Rouge-based dairy and produce supplier will enlarge its offices and warehouse from about 30,000 square feet to more than 80,000 in order to carry a larger variety of produce and better serve customers, says Amanda Sanders, Capitol City Produce’s executive director of marketing. The expansion’s total cost has yet to be determined.
