Where to find Pokémon Go gyms and Pokéstops at Baton Rouge restaurants and bars

If you’re as addicted to playing Pokémon Go as much of the country (and the 225 staff) seems to be, then you know Pokéstops and gyms* are essential aspects of the games.

Fortunately for Baton Rougeans, there are plenty of Baton Rouge restaurants and bars that are hotspots for the game—meaning you can capture Vaporeons and grab a bite to eat at the same time. Check out the list below of restaurants and bars we’ve found that double as Pokéstops and gyms to help you catch ’em all.

And we’re still on the hunt for more, so be sure to tell us in the comments what Baton Rouge restaurants and bars you’ve played the game at so we can keep updating this story.

Gyms:

In general, there are way more Pokéstops than gyms, but here are the gyms we’ve found around the city that happen to be at local eateries.

• The Chimes East
• Fat Cow
• Ichiban Hibachi Grill & Sushi Bar
• Juban’s Restaurant
The Londoner
• Louie’s Cafe
• Mestizo Restaurant (El Grande Margarita statue out front)
• Parrain’s Seafood Restaurant (Statue of Liberty)
• Ralph and Kacoo’s (at the swordfish outside)

* For the non-Pokémon fanatics, Pokéstops are places that allow you to capture more Pokémon and collect items such as eggs and more Pokéballs. Gyms are where you can battle against other Pokémon trainers and almost certainly lose until you’ve practiced for weeks.
