Food to look forward to at MPAC 2016 this Thursday


This Thursday, the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge will present the third annual Music, People, Art, and Community event at 7:30 p.m. at the Shaw Center.

The event will feature entertainment across six floors of the Shaw Center, not to mention local cuisine and signature cocktails.

The MPAC menu:

Some food options to look forward to from local caterers participating in the event:

City Pork: Smoked chicken thighs served over City Pork potato salad, and crab boiled potatoes with house mustard, sweet relish and egg

Stroubes Seafood and Steaks: Lobster mac and cheese and tuna tartare

Jolie Pearl Oyster Bar: Brie and bacon oysters and Bloody Mary oyster shooters

Mestizo: Crawfish tamales and pulled pork tostadas

Capital City Grill: Greek pasta and sangria
