Last chance to buy MPAC tickets before prices increase

There is one day left to buy MPAC tickets for $50. Prices increase to $65 tomorrow, May 19.

The annual event highlighting Baton Rouge’s music, people, art and community takes place two weeks from tomorrow—Thursday, June 2, 7:30-10:30 p.m. at the Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette St.

Each floor of the Shaw Center will offer different cuisine, art and music. Food and craft cocktails will be served by City Pork, Mestizo, Jolie Pearl, Stroubes and Capital City Grill. Featured musicians include The Michael Foster Project, Andy Bourgeois Organ Trio, Groovy7 and DJ Push Play.

Suggested attire is all-white, but guests can decide whether they prefer a casual or more dressed-up style.

The event, which was previously presented by 225 and InRegister magazines, is now produced by The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. All proceeds benefit The Arts Council’s year-round local arts and outreach programming.

225 is a sponsor of this year’s event, along with Regions, Level Homes (Americana/The Design Studio), Postlethwaite & Netterville, Mercedes-Benz and Kean Miller.

The event is for attendees 21 and older. Purchase tickets here. For more info, visit artsbr.org.
