Smashburger, a burger chain that has more than 300 restaurants across the country and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, will open its first Capital City location next month.
The Baton Rouge Smashburger is set to open Wednesday, May 13, at 10 a.m. at 7474 Corporate Blvd. in the former Trios Mexican Bar and Grill.
The chain features angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and garlic-seasoned Smashfries. The restaurant will also serve shakes and floats. The Baton Rouge location is 2,750 square feet and has room for around 95 patrons. Restaurant hours will be 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
