It’s a weekend of beer: Tin Roof anniversary and Cap City Beer Fest

Though the LSU Tigers head to Arkansas for Saturday’s game, the weekend is still full of events in Baton Rouge to enjoy your favorite tailgate beer sans tailgate.

Check out two beer-centric events happening around the city to quench your thirst.

Tin Roof celebrates six years with weekend festivities

Celebrate Tin Roof Brewing Company’s sixth anniversary with events all weekend long for its Tin Roof Fest.

On Thursday, Nov. 10, head to Movie Night at the Roof. Doors open at 4 p.m. with the movie—chosen through a Facebook poll—beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday’s event is free with beer specials available to guests 21 or older.

Tin Roof Fest goes into full swing on Friday, Nov. 11, 4-11 p.m. Guests can enjoy Barbosa’s Barbeque and pop-up shops. Entertainment will be provided by The Widowers.

To finish out the weekend, the Tailgate Party will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, 1-10 p.m. Tin Roof will show the LSU-Arkansas game on its new projector. Guests can enjoy drink specials and food from local vendors.

Each event in the three-day fest will be held at Tin Roof Brewing Company, 1624 Wyoming St. More information can be found on Facebook.
