Thanks for the memories, Les

Les Miles’ tenure as LSU head coach may have come to an end, but it wasn’t without a slew of memorable moments and quirky quotes. Love him or not, the Mad Hatter gave Tiger fans plenty to cheer about in his 12-year tenure.

Here are some of the highlights from Miles’ time in Baton Rouge.

FIVE MEMORABLE QUOTES

On watching game film:
“It’s like reading a book, and it’s exciting. … I don’t read books, but if I read books, it would be like reading a book.”

Explaining a 2010 video that caught him eating a blade of grass during the LSU-Alabama game:
“The grass in Tiger Stadium tastes the best.”

On a marquee quarterback decommitting on National Signing Day:

After dispelling the “Miles to Michigan” rumors that were swirling in 2007:
“Have a great day!”
