Summer Insider’s Guide: Watermark Baton Rouge Hotel

Why We Love It

If these walls could talk! Dine, stay and explore history all throughout the entire building. Visitors love the hand-painted ceiling murals, carved marble walls, gorgeous staircases, and old bank vaults converted into dramatic meeting and dining spaces. Guests experience the richest and most eclectic hotel experience in downtown Baton Rouge.

A Must Do

Weekend brunch at The Gregory is a local foodie’s favorite. The Gregory is the premier destination for modern food and wine in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The restaurant is centered between an open kitchen and a full bar surrounded by murals painted by the artist after whom the restaurant is named: Angela Gregory. The menus utilize fresh, local produce and available organic proteins that offer twists on Southern classics in a modern farm-to-table menu. The brunch burger is amazing, or try a classic with a twist—we love the boudin omelet.

What’s New This Summer

New happy hour specials are coming this summer! On Monday through Friday from 3-7 p.m., enjoy domestic draft beer, wine, martinis and charcuterie boards for a discounted price!
