Rising Stars: Dashawn McBryde

Louisiana has become known for producing some of the country’s most elite football talents, and Dashawn McBryde has the chance to be the next big name to come out of the Pelican State.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound safety helped guide Denham Springs to an 8-2 record in the regular season, including a run to the quarterfinals of the LHSAA state playoffs.

McBryde is considered a 4-star prospect by most recruiting outlets and has already received offers from a variety of schools across the country.

But as of now, the Yellow Jackets star is choosing to stick with his purple and gold roots and has committed to LSU to play college ball. Tiger Stadium will be in for a treat once McBryde arrives on campus.
