Truth: I cannot pass up watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom when it is on TV. Sister Act: 2 has the same power, but that is a different conversation for a different day. Don’t tempt me to pretend to be Ms. Lauryn Hill. Because I will go full-on Rita.
Arguably the best in the Indiana Jones series, Temple of Doom is action-packed and full of cringeworthy moments! The snake on a platter, y’all … gets me every time.
The Jones uniform is an icon. A little boy once owned this authentic Indiana Jones hat, and I can only imagine how his face lit up when he received it. That’s the thing with vintage—you can leave the backstory up to your imagination. The hours spent playing explorer in this hat! The make-believe beasts killed, the rocks climbed and the last-minute-falls-to-the-death avoided!
