Head to the Ascension Hot Air Balloon Festival this weekend, Sept. 22-23, and watch the stress of the week float away. The festival makes a return after being canceled last year due to the historic August 2016 flooding.
Hot Air Balloon Festival-goers can expect a classic car show, barbecue competition, food, drink and craft vendors, fireworks shows, carnival rides and, of course, tethered balloon rides and hot air balloon shows.
