Check out local and regional acts Mobley, Minos the Saint and Particle Devotion at Spanish Moon Aug. 31

Mobley, Minos the Saint and Particle Devotion are performing tonight, Aug. 31, at Spanish Moon.

Mobley, a self-labeled “post-genre pop” artist from Austin, headlines the show. Touring as a one-man band, Mobley plays piano, guitar, bass, drums and samplers. His music draws from an array of musical traditions and styles, such as electronic, R&B and indie rock. Check him out at mobleywho.com.

Minos the Saint is a Baton Rouge-band producing “experimental-yet-accessible original chamber-folk rock, representing Louisiana and the world.” Check out our interview with the band, or listen to the new album at minosthesaint.com.

Opening the show is Particle Devotion, a Baton Rouge-based 8-piece of classically trained musicians. Check out 225’s Q&A with band, or preview its latest work at particledvtn.com.

Spanish Moon is at 1109 Highland Road. The show is 9 p.m.-midnight.
