This Saturday, 14 prominent members of the community will hit the stage at the 12th annual Dancing for Big Buddy, the organization’s premier fundraising event.
Dancers include Antoinette Patterson, Brandon Saho, Dawn Starns, Gina Laird, James Peltier, Johnnie Hunt-Bond, Kristy McKearn, Mathew Laborde, Melissa Terito, Michael Uffman, Stephen David, Steve Sherman and Rubin and Manisha Patel.
Each dancer has partnered with a professional dancer to present a live ballroom performance. The event is modeled after ABC’s hit show Dancing With the Stars.

The Big Buddy Program is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide positive role models and quality learning experiences for underserved youth in the Baton Rouge area.
Tickets are $10 and may be purchased here.
Dancing for Big Buddy will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. Before the performance, guests can enjoy food, beer and wine provided by Beausoleil. The PMAC is on LSU’s campus at North Stadium Road.
