Fall Fashion Fest 2017 at Tin Roof Brewing Company
Baton Rouge Fashion Council and Southern Flair want to help you prepare for tailgating season at the Third Annual Fall Fashion Fest 2017 at Tin Roof Brewing Company Saturday, Aug. 26.
Get everything purple and gold that you need, and maybe a few things that you don’t need, for football season. The event includes a complimentary Drybar braid bar, a pop-up barre class with Barre3 at 12:30 p.m. and an all-purple-and-gold fashion show highlighting this season’s game-day trends hosted by Miss LSU-USA 2017 Alyssa Ceasar at 1 p.m. Attendees will also be able to shop men’s and women’s tailgating apparel from local boutiques, while enjoying food, beer, music, tailgating games and more.

This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome, but attendees must be 21 or older to enter Tin Roof’s tap room. Fall Fashion Fest 2017 is Saturday, Aug. 26, at Tin Roof Brewing Company (1624 Wyoming St.) noon-4 p.m.
Taste of Tiger Tailgating at Raising Cane’s River Center
After Fall Fashion Fest, head to the Raising Cane’s River Center for The 15th Annual Taste of Tiger Tailgating from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26. Guaranty Entertainment (100.7 FM The Tiger) and Rouses Markets kick off the 2017 LSU tailgating season with a special event for LSU fans of all ages. Taste of Tiger Tailgating includes food samples from local restaurants, a Kid’s Zone play area, live music from Trent Tomlinsom, Parish County Line and Chase Tyler, the latest LSU tailgating gear from local vendors and so much more.
Tickets are $17 plus fees, but admission is free for kids 5 and younger. Taste of Tiger Tailgating is Aug. 26, 5-8 p.m., at Raising Cane’s River Center Exhibition Hall.
