Internationally acclaimed violin virtuoso Sarah Chang will be making her Baton Rouge debut tomorrow, Sept. 22, as part of Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra’s Music in Motion opening night.
Chang will be playing several noteworthy compositions, ranging from Piazzolla’s “Four Seasons of Buenos Aires” to Bennett’s “Suite of Old American Dances.”
The concert, conducted by Timothy Muffitt, is fashioned around several dances, including a modern day foxtrot, Western one-step and waltz—aiming to celebrate the joy of movement.
