A Mid City Night’s Dream takes over Government Street tonight, Aug. 24

Head to the Government Street corridor for shopping, art, music and plenty of food at the Mid City Merchants’ 7th Annual A Mid City Night’s Dream tonight, Aug. 24.

More than a dozen businesses, restaurants and artists participate in this annual art hop. Enjoy the best art, dining, shopping and refreshments that Mid City has to offer, and hit all your favorite stops from South Eugene and Government streets to Jefferson Highway while you support local artists and small businesses. Below is a just a small preview of what you can expect to see tonight:

Brew Ha-Ha’s lineup of artists and artisans includes Ellen Mauldin Anderson, Spade Photo, Daniel Moore Art, Audrey Wells Kafkallides, Gemini Pearl, GrinningJupiter Jammery, Kristen Binning Art, Tj Black, OWL Soap Company, Leiana Loveday Funck and Carolyn Cane Loubiere. Business First Bank will also be set up here. Brew Ha-Ha is at 711 Jefferson Highway Suite 2.

Create Studios is offering wine, snacks and a preview of its upcoming holiday classes, particularly its Halloween lineup. Create Studios is at 546 Bienville St.

Parish Pilates & Yoga invites you to celebrate its recent opening, while shopping with Lauren Collignon of Flaming Lotus Jewelry, Shaun Hebert of Southern Concrete Studio, The Collective, Ellen Ogden and Chase Mullen of Chase Mullen Studios. The studio will also offer fall specials, introduce its instructors and announce its new schedule with free classes. Parish Pilates & Yoga is at 2931 Government St.

Radio Bar will feature local artists Ford Thomas, Hannah Cox, Damien G, Nate Landry, and Story Lab. Radio Bar is at 3079 Government St.

Sabai Jewelry Gallery will have Joanne McMullen and Sue Garner demonstrating jewelry-making techniques. CA Kelso will also have embroidered bags in three sizes available for purchase. Sabai Jewelry Gallery is at 711 Jefferson Highway, Suite 9.
