The Lamar Dixon Expo Center will transform into a haven for anime enthusiasts. Attendees can expect cosplay showcases, insightful panels, talented artists, diverse merchants and more. The event will feature a star-studded guest list, including renowned voice actors from beloved anime series such as Dragon Ball, My Hero Academia, Soul Eater and Full Metal Alchemist.

Sweet Baton Rouge’s annual tailgating-inspired event takes over Perkins Rowe this Saturday, Aug. 19.

Shop products from local vendors, listen to live music and participate in a friendly cornhole competition. This year’s event will also include its first Jambalaya Cookoff, featuring the tasty works of individuals in the community.
